The recent RIW System Update on 8 April 2021 provided Network Operators and Premium Functionality Employer Admins with a powerful new tool, which allows the sending of safety related messages direct to cardholders through the Vircarda App.
However, a recent incident has highlighted that some RIW System Users may not understand the new feature. Please take the time to read this email carefully to understand the messaging functionality and your obligations when using it.

Importantly, Messaging cannot be used to email the RIW Service Desk, or to email individual cardholders. RIW System Users can only send messages to cardolders using one of four possible audiences; to all related or associated cardholders, to related or associated competency holders, to related or associated job role holders, or via swipe activity at a site that is managed by the Network/organisation. Please read our article on selecting a message audience for more detail.
RIW System Users should also be very careful when adding files or attachments to a message. You will be prompted to confirm that all file attachments or links include only safe and appropriate content.
