ARTC Operator job role update
ARTC will introduce changes to the ARTC Operator job role to include Safely Access the Rail Corridor (SARC) or equivalent as an additional mandatory requirement on 2 May 2022.
This change will invalidate any cardholders ARTC Operator job role if SARC or equivalent is not uploaded on their RIW profile. You and your employer must take the actions below to avoid this.
Effective 2 May 2022, the ARTC Operator job role must have the following:
And at least one of the following:
If you already have evidence uploaded for SARC in RIW, no further action is required and the ARTC Operator job role will show on your RIW card as valid.
If you do not currently have a SARC or SARC equivalent, you have until 2 May 2022 to complete this training and provide evidence on your RIW profile.
To find a training provider for SARC click on Finding a Registered Training Organisation and search for the following competency unit: TLIF0020 Safely Access the Rail Corridor.
If you or your employer have not made the required changes by 2 May 2022, your job role will be invalid and non-compliant in RIW for the ARTC Operator job role.
