Coronavirus (Covid-19) Update
Given the growing concerns around Coronavirus (Covid-19), our priority for the RIW Program continues to be the health and safety of our staff, our clients and system users.
We wish to reassure our clients and system users that the RIW Program and our valued partners have business continuity plans in place which include strategies for coping with pandemic outbreaks to ensure the services we provide are maintained. It is our aim to continue to provide the highest level of service during this period of uncertainly.

Whether you create a new cardholder, or employ an existing cardholder, a request will be sent to the cardholder to accept the employment request. To do so, the cardholder must create a myRIW profile and accept the request before you can bring the cardholder into your company.
To end employment with a cardholder, the administrator can insert an ‘end date’ into the cardholders employment profile. Follow the instructions in the Quick Guide – How to end employment with a cardholder.

Cardholders ending primary employment with another company
If a cardholder you are wanting to employ has another primary employer listed against their profile, there are two ways to resolve this issue:
- The cardholder can contact the previous primary employer and request that they end their employment in the RIW system.
- The cardholder can submit an Ending Primary Employment Service Request to the RIW Service Team.
Note that in both cases, once employment is ceased with a particular company, the change will not take effect until midnight. The new primary employer can then ‘employ’ the cardholder in the RIW system the next day.
