RIW App update for Android devices
Please update the Android version of your RIW App now The RIW (NFC) App and RIW (QR) App used on Android devices has now been consolidated into one app to provide Access Controllers and Spot Checkers with QR scanning and near field communication (NFC) card reading based on the capabilities of the device on which it is installed. This means devices with and without NFC card reading can now all use the new combined application.
We will therefore be retiring the RIW (QR) app at a future date. If you are currently using this on a device without NFC, you should uninstall this and download the new combined version at your convenience. This will ensure you continue to benefit from any future upgrades to the new combined RIW App.
If automatic updates is enabled on your smart device and you have the current RIW (NFC) version, then the app will update automatically. If you do not have automatic updates enabled, or have the RIW (QR) version installed on your smart device, then you can download the new App on Google Play by searching for RIW or clicking on the Google Play logo below.
