Employer Administrator Update #13

It’s important to keep all company and administrator details up to date in the RIW system. The following tips will help you to manage this information quickly and easily.

The My Account tab is your gateway to updating important details in the RIW system. When you click on the My Account tab, you’ll have the option of updating your own details, your contacts and offices, your colleague logins and your password.

Let’s take a closer look at each of these functions.

In My Details, you can alter your own details including your email address.

In Edit My Contacts/Offices, you can update your company information. You should enter a brief company description that enables the RIW Service Desk to better understand the scope of your business. In the Offices Menu, you can update your company’s physical and postal addresses. This is especially important when ordering RIW cards for your workers, as by default the system will send cards to your office address (if you do not elect to send cards to your workers’ home address). You can add as many office/site addresses as required simply by clicking on the Add or Edit button; just ensure the name given to each site is easily recognised by you and your co-workers. You can also add additional company contacts that have the authority to discuss RIW matters on behalf of your company (they are not automatically provided a login, but you can arrange a login using the following feature).

In Manage Colleague Logins, you can add additional administrators/users for your company. When you provide their name and email address, they will be sent a login for the system. For more information check out our Quick Guide on creating new RIW system administrator users.

In Change Your Password, you can update your own password. You must enter your old password, your new password and confirm your password to make the change. Passwords must be at least 10 characters long and contain at least 1 uppercase, 1 lowercase, 1 numeric character and 1 symbol character. Occasionally, some passwords will be rejected as they appear on the easily guessable password list, which is embedded within the system to further protect your privacy.
